No stranger to Chicago jazz lovers, Anne Burnell, formerly Anne Pringle, has been performing in the Chicago area for 15 years, including the Chicago Humanities Festival, five years at Chicago?s largest music festival, the Taste of Chicago with her band, and the national anthem for both the Chicago Cubs & White Sox with her pianist/husband Mark Burnell. The duo was named "One of Chicago's Top Ten" in 2002 & 2003 from New York's Cabaret Hotline, with successful engagements in New York, Paris, and Amsterdam.

Anne was awarded two Certificate of Achievement awards from Billboard Magazine for songwriting, and her discography includes: "Little Things We Do Together", "Serious", "Sleep On It" (as Anne Pringle), and 2005's release "Blues in the Night".

"Blues in the Night", songs by Harold Arlen, reached Top ten status on CMJ Jazz charts across the country receiving airplay on over 150 stations in the US including major markets such as New York, Chicago, San Diego, Denver, and Miami, as well as, Australia, Canada and The Netherlands.
