Ava Logan is an award winning singer-actress from Washington,D.C. who now lives in the Chicago area.
A graduate of Yale and the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Logan is a veterinarian by day, and a jazz singer at night.
The classically trained vocalist has performed jazz, pop, and rhythm and blues in Chicagoland and other U.S. cities, as well as in exotic places such as the Caribbean islands
(on a cruise ship), Hawaii, and Ghana, West Africa. A recent career highlight was portraying her idol, Ella Fitzgerald, in the Black Ensemble Theater’s critically acclaimed musical “Ella – First Lady of Song”.
More recently, she has appeared at the Peninsula Hotel in Chicago and with internationally renowned jazz violinist Johnny Frigo at his birthday tribute.
She was delighted to make a musical contribution to the Lorraine Jackson Foundation Pearls of Hope Breast Cancer Benefit Gala held at the Four
Seasons Hotel of Beverly Hills, California.
