After attending high school in Chicago, where he excelled in both music and sports, Bill joined the Air Force Band. Followed by tours with Stan Kenton, Harry James, Buddy Rich and Woody Herman, he soon became the number one trombonist in America.

Returning home to raise a family, Bill joined the staff of WGN TV. As an educator, he taught in area colleges, was featured at jazz festivals, played on hundreds of albums and commercials, and toured as jazz clinician. Bill organized his own orchestra and soon became one of Chicago’s top bandleaders including his stint at the Moulin Rouge Supper Club in the Fairmont Hotel.

When it comes to Chicago wedding and big event bands, this is a treat. If you want great wedding music, this is top shelf all the way.
