Connie Marshall

Connie Marshall is a well-known vocalist throughout the Chicagoland area. A diverse entertainer, she has enthralled many an ear with her magnetic voice and brought a smile to many with her electric stage presence. She possesses both the lungpower to sweeten any note and a vibrancy to capture any spotlight.

There is no fence around Connie's talent. For her versatility allows her to package Jazz and other varieties of music into a sparkling gift box resplendent with the trademark bow that only Connie Marshall can create. All out of thin air, an air that Connie turns musical.

She has performed at many of the nightspots in and around the Midwest. Sports fans know her name, as she has opened the games for the Bulls at The United Center and for the Chicago White Sox. She has also performed at the casinos and at many media-, corporate-, political-and charity-sponsored events.

Television viewers have seen her during various fundraisers and on local Channels 9 and 11.

Within the circle she has worked for over a decade, the name Connie Marshall has become a favorite of top area musicians. Among them are the Johnny Gabor Trio, Blackhawks' organist Frank Pellico, violinist virtuosos Franz Benteler and Johnny Frigo.

Engagements are varied and include: variety shows at the Rialto and Paramount Arts Center theatres; the Drake Hotel's Coq D'or Room, The Flame of Countryside, The Chambers, Vic's, Bamboo Room, Drury Lane, The Adolphus Hotel (Dallas, TX), and a series of gigs at Cog Hill and other country clubs.

But, Connie's "leisure" time is brief. When not performing or creatively putting together new material for the shows, she channels her talents into the recording studio. She has recorded three CD's entitled, "Connie Marshall - At Last", "Sway", and "Inspired". She was also featured as a vocalist on Frank Pellico's CD and James Fernandez invited her to sing all of his "original compositions" on his CD. An educational CD for students grades 4 through 8, featured Connie singing songs in Spanish and English.

An alumnae of the American Conservatory of Music, Connie has operatic training as well as more than 15 years of musical and dramatic theatre experience.
