A new voice to the Chicago Jazz scene, Jim developed his baritone vocals at the Bloom School of Jazz under the guidance of David Bloom and jazz vocalist Spider Saloff. He has performed with BSJ at Chicago's Green Mill Lounge, Katerina’s and Mayne Stage.

In the tradition of such legendary jazz vocalists as Billy Eckstine and Johnny Hartman; Jim Grant brings his own distinctive style to Jazz and American standards, such as "Isn't It Romantic", "Somebody Loves Me", "My One And Only Love" and more.... including Blues and contemporary classics.
