Mark Moultrup is a keyboardist, vocalist, composer, arranger, and educator originally from Detroit and now residing in Chicago.
Many of his compositions are featured on his cds, and have also been heard on promo spots, children’s CD’s and national television.
He produces his own CDs as well as those of other artists and has written arrangements for a variety of ensembles from trio to big band, and vocal.
He is active in schools, teaching, conducting music clinics and performing.
He founded the Petoskey Jazz Festival in Petoskey, Michigan.
Mark has been a full-time working musician for over 30 years. Venues include work in jazz clubs, festivals, musical theater, concert stages, churches, studios, dance clubs, and corporate functions,
and has performed throughout the United States, as well as Europe, South and Central America, and the Carribean.
He has performed at the Detroit International Jazz Festival 11 times, including 4 appearances with his own group.
In 2005, he was Music Director of “Menopause the Musical” in Chicago.
Recent venues include The Art Institute of Chicago, The Chicago Club, Andy’s, Sullivans, Green Dolphin St. Fitzgeralds, Pete Miller’s, The Ritz Carlton Hotel, The Jazz Showcase, and Taste of Chicago.
Mark performs regularly with the Black Ensemble Theater.

Mark has shared the stage and or recorded with a diverse array of artists including:
Smokie Robinson, Bobby Vinton, Mike Stern, Marcus Belgrave, Eddie Kendricks, David Ruffin, and Dennis Edwards
(Temptations induction to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Concert), Rodney Whitaker, Paul Keller, Eddie Henderson, Leslie Gore, Lou Christie, Johnny Trudell, Regina Carter, The Diamonds, Heather Headley and the broadway touring productions of "Grease" and "Showboat".

Realeased in May 2011, it features all original compositions with an eye toward the fusion side, along with impression of Yosemite National Park, and the scaling of Half Dome.

Touch ‘n’ Go - 2004
A trio release featuring arrangements of songs from the Anerican Songbook.
“Touch ‘n’ Go” was heard on National Public Radio Stations across the country and was one of WDET Detroit jazz DJ Ed Love's “Highly Recommended Jazz CDs” of 2004.
