The Sidemen Big Band is a tight unit of quality jazz musicians founded by Chicago trumpeter Wendell Brenner. "As the band's 'founding member', I emphasize that there is no individual band leader, because we’re all professionals with significant band experience. We all know our way around our instruments. This is a very open and proficient band." Yes, the Sidemen are just that . . . professional musicians enjoying what they do best; playing great jazz and having fun doing it!
