Shout Section burst onto the scene in 2008 and is one of the most energetic and exciting jazz ensembles in the Chicagoland area. Shout Section Big Band is a full-sized professional jazz orchestra comprised of Chicagoland’s up-and-coming performers and renowned veteran musicians. This band is intense, professional and affordable. Shout Section Big Band performs the best examples of jazz, rock, latin, and swing. The band employs a large number of musicians who are also teachers, making Shout Section Big Band uniquely qualified to teach clinics and perform concerts at schools.

Officially, Shout Section Big Band is a 9 to 18 piece band. We have been featured on WGN Television and love playing for weddings, corporate events, civic and cultural concerts. We have a wide range of JAZZ, ROCK, SWING, LATIN, FUNK, OLDIES and CLASSICAL music to tailor to your event. Currently, we have a regular seasonal concert at the Skokie Theater in Skokie, Illinois.
