Terry has been a popular pianist in the Chicago area for over 30 years, performing both in bands and as a solo artist. He is currently performing as a soloist and with Catia Mann, a superb jazz vocalist. He has performed at many west suburban clubs, restaurants and private venues, including Vic's Italian Steak House in Oak Brook, Sugo Italian Restaurant, Hotel Baker and the Norris Cultural Arts Center in St. Charles, Villa Verone, Rain Restaurant, Bar Italia, and the Mill Race Inn in Geneva, Frankie's Blue Room in Naperville, Finley's Grillroom in Downers Grove, and GiGi's Jazz Club in Winfield. He is also one of the regular jazz pianists at The Anvil Club in East Dundee, an up-scale private restaurant. His styling is known for its versatility and includes jazz, blues, and, yes, rock-and-roll piano.

Terry has performed with many outstanding artists, including Von Freeman, Nick Schneider, Rick and Johnny Frigo, Larry Coryell and Julian Coryell. In addition, he is a "regular" at many jam sessions throughout the area and enjoys a reputation for performing for a variety of tastes.

His many years of experience caters to several generations of music lovers. Everyone in the audience can identify their favorite music when he performs.
