Description

All original compositions, with the exception of an arrangement of the standard tune “The Midnight Sun” by Lionel Hampton and Sonny Burke. Great performances by saxophonist Frank Catalano and trumpeter Art Davis. In a review of this CD, the Jazz Institute of Chicago described the arrangements as “witty” and praised Jim's “unambiguous attack of the keyboard.”
