WDCB Jazz Café Live at the MAC! Presents Chicago jazz guitarist Andy Brown and vocalist Petra van Nuis at 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, in Theatre 2 at the McAninch Arts Center at College of DuPage, 425 Fawell Blvd. in Glen Ellyn.
The four-part Jazz Café series features distinctive Chicago jazz artists in an intimate setting.
Brown has played professionally for nearly 20 years and recently released his debut recording, “Trio and Solo.” He has performed with a number of jazz notables, including Kurt Elling, Howard Alden and Harry Allen.
Inspired by Peggy Lee, Chet Baker and Billie Holiday, van Nuis’ warm, intimate sound has made her a favorite of clubs throughout Chicago.
Tickets to WDCB Jazz Café are $16 for adults, $14 for seniors and $6 for College of DuPage students and youth. Cabaret table seating is $18 for adults, $16 for seniors and $8 for College of DuPage students and youth.
