Acclaimed Cuban trumpet virtuoso and former Dizzy Gillespie protégé, Arturo Sandoval is equally at home working an Afro-Cuban groove, tearing up a bebop tune, soaring over a Mozart concerto, or soothing you with a luscious ballad. He is one of the most dynamic and vivacious live performers of our time.
Performing this Saturday March 20th at the Old Town School of Folk Music.
Also featured March 20th is Darwin Noguera. A young Nicaraguan pianist, band leader, and composer based in Chicago with "a bold and refreshing look at the Latin jazz genre from an artist who will, no doubt, continue on his musical evolution for many years to come." - All About Jazz
