James L. Guter, 72, beloved husband of Janis (Chamberlin), father of Ellen Howard and Mark Guter; grandfather of Rachael and Jonathan Howard; brother of Ross Guter; and cousin of Camille Farrow. His parents, Noah and Jean Guter, preceded him in death.
Visitation is Friday, December 16, 3:00 – 8:00 pm at Williams-Woodward Funeral Home, 820 Pine St., West chiago, IL 60185 (Rt. 59 and Pine Sts.). Funeral Home service is Saturday, December 17 at 11:00 am. Interment is private. Additional information may be found at www.williams-woodward.com.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the James L. Guter Memorial Fund to benefit the Montclair State University School of Music. Donations may be mailed to the funeral home.
