Bruce Oscar is a jazz pianist and a jazz announcer on WDCB… but most of all, Bruce Oscar is a showman!
Whether playing solo jazz piano in a club, or talking with his radio audience about jazz, Bruce Oscar’s mission is to keep his audience engaged and entertained. And he does it so well! Adept in many styles of jazz, Bruce Oscar brings his trio to the Gorton Center for an afternoon of straight-ahead standards from the Great American Songbook, featuring such composers as Gershwin, Porter, Ellington and more!
Bruce Oscar hosts the afternoon shift of “All Things Jazz”, Monday through Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. on 90.9fm WDCB, as well as “Swing Shift”, his own tribute to the WWII swing band era.
Come see Bruce hold court in a live performance with his piano trio in an intimate cabaret style setting.
