CHI-TOWN JAZZ FESTIVAL '12, March 7 - 11, marks the charitable event's third and establishes it as a bona fide "annual" festival! The resounding success of CTJF's inaugural and sophomore years has, yet again, inspired the Chicago jazz community to come together for a common cause: Chicago-area hunger relief. Yet again, various Chicago-area venues are donating space; musicians are donating sets, and the many other volunteers required to produce and promote a festival of this scope, are donating their services. This year's generous media sponsors are WDCB 90.9FM Public Radio and Chicago Jazz Magazine. Over 90% of CHI-TOWN JAZZ FESTIVAL '12 proceeds will go to combat hunger; the remaining funds will be reserved to expand next year's festival and its revenue potential for continued charitable contribution.

John Moulder, one of Chicago's most respected jazz guitarists and a Catholic priest at St. Gregory the Great Church, created and produces the ANNUAL CHI-TOWN JAZZ FESTIVAL. Fr. Moulder was inspired by need--- Catholic Charities has seen a 40% increase in food requests, resulting from current economic realities. Funds generated by the CHI-TOWN JAZZ FESTIVAL go to the Greater Chicago Food Depository and Catholic Charities.
