This is Chicago Jazz with Mike Jeffers radio show features discussion on upcoming performances, an update on the Chicago Jazz Festival for 2010 and much more.The in studio guest this week is Greg Parker the founder and president of the Chicago Blues Museum.
Greg discusses the new exhibit which runs through June at the DuSable Museum in Chicago. The exhibit is called “The Soul of Bronzeville” and features artifacts from many of long since closed jazz venues on the Southside. He also talks about a new restaurant he has partnered with called Dee’s Place (2114 West Division Street, Chicago) which is a soul food restaurant and features live blues and jazz right in Wicker Park.

This is Chicago Jazz with Mike Jeffers radio show featured vocalist Laury Shelley discussing her upcoming performance with the Chicago Trombone Authority as well as her upcoming performances at Katerina’s and other venues.
