COD MUSICIAN NAMED OUTSTANDING PERFORMER AT JAZZ FEST
College of DuPage Small Group Jazz Ensemble members Deb Zelman recently was recognized as an outstanding performer at the 43rd Annual Elmhurst College Jazz Festival.
Zelman, of Naperville, is a music educator and plays clarinet and sings in the College ensemble. She was awarded the festival accolade based on her vocal performances and arrangements of “Street of Dreams” and “Agua de Beber.”
“It’s been a pleasure having Deb in our bands for the last couple of year and I’m happy to see her recognized at this prestigious festival,” said Tom Tallman, ensemble director.
