Exceptional drummer Dana Hall will lead a quintet featuring Tim Warfield on sax, Terell Stafford on trumpet, Rodney Whitaker on bass, and Bruce Barth on piano at the Green Mill Jazz Club, 4802 N. Broadway, on Friday, January 24, from 9PM till 1AM and Saturday, January 25, from 8PM till midnight.
Dana Hall, jazz drummer, composer, and ethnomusicologist, is a specialist in soul music and black popular culture in America.

As a professional musician, Hall's experiences have been global and far-reaching, including performances on six continents and extensive concert, club, and international festival performances throughout Europe, Asia, and Africa. In addition to leading his own ensembles, and his membership in the Terell Stafford Quintet and the Chicago Jazz Ensemble, Hall has performed and recorded with greats such as Branford Marsalis, Joshua Redman, and Horace Silver.

Grammy-nominated saxist Tim Warfield has been called "possibly the most powerful tenor saxophonist of his generation" by the New York Times. He has performed with Stefon Harris, Christian McBride, and Nicholas Payton and has been voted "a talent deserving wider recognition" in DownBeat.

Trumpeter Terell Stafford is known for being a gifted and versatile player with a voice all his own. He combines lyricism and a deep love of melody with a spirited, adventurous edge. His talent showcases his uniquely expressive and well-defined performance.
