Monday, April 27th at 7:00 P.M. Denise Brigham will officially release her new album “HOTEL LAFAYETTE” at the Chicago Recording Company, 232 E. Ohio, in Chicago. This will be an exceptional event as Denise’s story is one that is truly inspiring to others in a time when success stories are few, and in addition she will be sharing her celebration with a young girl from the Make-A-Wish program who she helped to make her dream of recording come true as well.

Less than ten years ago Denise’s lifelong dream of being a singer was her inner most secret, something she had never told anyone about. Through a remarkable series of events she has gone from having no self-confidence and being afraid to let anyone, even her family, hear her sing, to the release of this major album recorded here in Chicago.

HOTEL LAFAYETTE has been over a year in the making with a budget of over $100,000. It was produced, arranged and orchestrated by Carey Deadman who works with Jersey Boys, and features a 70-piece orchestra conducted by Colin Welford who did Wicked. The story of how this all came about is covered in attached media kit as well as more details about the project.

Because this was her dream from childhood Denise wanted to see if she could make this also happen for a child in need, so she contacted Make-A-Wish to see if she could help. It turned out to be perfect timing. They had a young girl who dreamed of being a recording artist, and her very favorite music was from the hit show Wicked.

After a series of phone calls Denise’s team was able to make it all happen. Next Monday morning this young girl will be brought to the Chicago Recording Company where she will record a song with the actual band that played Wicked, Colin and Carey will be there to conduct and produce, and the engineering staff will do the editing and mixing that afternoon. Everyone involved is donating their time, and Chicago Recording Company is donating the facility.

Monday evening Denise will share her release party with this young girl being the guest of honor. Denise wants her to be a very special part of the excitement and get the attention of the guests and media in attendance. It took Denise more than forty years to realize her dream and she wants to make sure this child gets to realize hers.

The official party will run from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. in Studio 4 on the main floor. To facilitate the media in attendance speeches and introductions will be done early, and we will be more than happy to try to make any special requests or needs possible. For further information please contact Denise’s office at the phone or email listed above.
