DIANE DELIN
is a Chicago-based jazz violinist and composer whose music is receiving great attention. Delin's performances have ranged from the Chicago Jazz Festival to New Orleans' Snug Harbor to Carnegie Hall. Neil Tesser writes that she "can light a real fire under both a band and an audience," and Howard Reich states that "Delin produces improvisations of considerable style and unmistakable integrity." Her quartet recording, "Talking Stick," was named in the top 10 Chicago artist recordings of the year by the Chicago Sun-Times.
