Members of the DuPage Community Jazz Ensemble, in conjunction with the College of DuPage Older Adult Institute (OAI), will host a Spring Dance at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, May 17, at the Building K Commons at the Glen Ellyn Campus, 425 Fawell Boulevard.
The group, made up of musicians of all ages and experience levels, includes community members and student musicians pursuing music degrees. Ensemble members host a dance and concert each semester, with occasional additional performances.
The events playlist includes music from the Great American Songbook, vocals by Jessica Morrison and Sandi Haynes, fox trots, tangos, cha-chas, swing, polkas and waltzes.
Admission is $6 and includes snacks.
