Noon - Women of the AACM
Featuring: Dee Alexander, Renee' Baker, Ann Ward and Coco Elysses
A true one-of-a-kind performance by a group of supremely talented women in tribute to Fred Anderson and the 45th Anniversary of the AACM.
1:30p - Greg Penn and Crosswind
3:00p - Ernest Dawkins Straight Ahead Quintet
Featuring: Corey Wilkes / Trumpet, Ben Patterson / Piano, Isaiah Spencer /Drums, Junius Paul / Bass
4:30p - Special Guest Headliner Renč McLean
Featuring: From New York, the unique sounds of multi-reed instrumentalist (Alto, Tenor, Soprano saxophone, Flutes, Ney, Shakuhachi) Renč McLean, together with Chicago's very own masterful pianist Willie Pickens, Ernie Adams on drums, and Junius Paul on bass.
