Eric Schneider and Ron Dewar (who should have won a MacArthur Genius Grant years ago, according to Eric) will be co-leading a group playing music associated with the reed masters of the 20s, 30s and 40s. Although walking in the footsteps of the giants, they will express musical visions that are entirely their own.
Accompanying them will be an all-star rhythm section of Jeremy Kahn, Dan DeLorenzo and Phil Gratteau. The concert is Sunday, April 19 from 2:30 - 5:00 PM at the Glendora Ballroom, 102nd & Harlem in Chicago Ridge. Tickets are $15. in advance, $17. at the door.
