Straight off the rumor wire here at Chicago Jazz, we have it on good authority that this past Wednesday and Thursday nights , Andy’s Jazz Club was invaded by the Harry Connick Jr. big band.
The band was performing at the Chicago Theatre and apparently they all swung by Andy’s for an impromptu jazz jam session. There were no sightings of Harry Connick himself but according to reports the place was packed and the music was swinging!
