Over the years, guitarist extraordinaire Henry Johnson has performed with jazz legends like Jack McDuff, Joe Williams and Ramsey Lewis. Johnson's musical roots run deep in gospel, blues, and jazz. He is well-known and respected for his fluid soulfulness and versatility.
Johnson formed a new quartet for our upcoming Jazz City concert featuring Lloyd Wilson on the Hammond B3, Kwame Steve Cobb on drums and Peter Roothaan on saxophone. This quartet will have your toes tapping and your fingers snapping this Friday, February 4th, 7pm at Tuley Park, 501 East 90th Street in Chicago!
