7:30 P.M. a magnificent concert "Great Legends of Jazz" performing and receiving awards will be Willie Pickens, John Wright, Von Freeman, Ari Brown, Joan Collaso, Maggie Brown, Tammy McCann, Corey Wilkes, Ray Silkman, Skinny William, James Perkins, jimmy Ellis, Nanette Franks, Harrison Bankhead, Ernie Adams, Kwame Steve Cobb, Chavunduka, Yosif Ben Israel, Marlene Rosenberg, Loretta Lee, Ken Chaney, T.S. Galloway, Miguel DE La Cerna and more.
There will be a Special award ceremony honoring Joe Segal Founder of the Jazz Showcase, Lauren Deucth President of the Jazz Institute of Chicago, Carolyn albritton Promoter of jazz in Chicago and Brenda Phillips.
