The first of many ChicagoJazz.com networking night at Andy’s Jazz Club on March 25th turned out to be a great success. This was a chance for members of ChicagoJazz.com to mingle and network with other members as well as Mike Jeffers and the staff of Chicago Jazz Magazine. The night featured the music of ChicagoJazz.com member Alison Ruble and her quartet as well as ChicagoJazz.com member Scott Burns and his quartet.
The networking night was put together so that Chicago jazz musicians can meet each other and connect to build a stronger jazz community in Chicago. The only way jazz will grow and prosper is if everyone involved in the Chicago jazz community such as the clubs, musicians, organizations and fans all work together and support each other.
The next networking night is being planned for May. More details will be coming in the new few weeks.
