Spend an evening with Jeannie as she performs solo -- playing piano and singing -- at Katerina's - It's a bar, it's a live music venue, a cultural center. It's a meeting place for old friends and new friends. A place where romance blossoms and time stands still, as you listen to the hippest jazz, funk, Latin, blues, Greek and International music!
Jeannie is usually surrounded by her fabulous quartet, so this is a rare evening to experience Jeannie Tanner "unplugged." She will be performing her original music, including songs from her new c.d., YOU CAN KISS ME INTO ANYTHING, along with standards and audience favorites - setting the mood for a perfect evening. The new release is Ms. Tanner's fourth CD in three years with all original tracks highlighting her signature j-pop(jazz-pop) style.
Jeannie's recent performances include appearances on ABC and WGN & headlining the Best Buy Stage at the Taste of Chicago in 2008 & 2009. Tanner's 2008 release, PROMISE ME THE MOON was on the Grammy list for ballot consideration in 4 categories.
Ms. Tanner's music can be heard on radio stations around the country,including WDCB 90.9 FM in the Chicagoland area.
