This Wednesday, June 1st, Katerina’s Composers Studio will feature the gifted composers Kelly Brand, Juli Wood, Kelly Sill, Jeff Meegan and June Shellene; with special guest, Lisa McQueen. There will be performances by all of the artists, along with conversations throughout the evening with these songwriters. (Host Jeannie Tanner, www.jeannietanner.com, will interview the artists as they perform, on topics such as their writing styles, influences and composing process.) The highlight of these shows continues to be the "improv songwriting" segment - as the songwriters take suggestions from the audience to compose on-the-spot.
