President of Chicago Jazz Magazine and Chicago Jazz Entertainment, Mike Jeffers, will be performing with his jazz quartet Thursday April 7th at 7pm for the Project Ladybug event at the Grossigner City Autoplex in Chicago.
Project Ladybug is a charity founded by former “Real Housewives of New Jersey” cast member and television personality Dina Manzo. After starting Project Ladybug in New Jersey, Dina brought the charity to Chicago after meeting 3 year old Atia Lutarewych. Her strength and spirit moved Dina so much that the fund was brought to Comer Children’s Hospital in Atia’s name in hopes of helping other children fight cancer with the same spirit Atia does.
The mission of Project Ladybug is to ease the struggles of childhood cancer through financial and emotional support for patients and their families. Proceeds from Atia’s Project Ladybug events will continue to brighten the lives of these young patients and their families at Comer Children’s Hospital, The University of Chicago.
