Jazz Jam Session hosted by Chicago's Jazz Explorers, which is being held at Reggie's Music club, located at 2109 S State St.
This jam session begins at 11:00pm, directly following a set by the Jazz Explorers, one or more of the members of which you may be acquainted with.
Reggie's is a decent place for live music, and they offer the usual libations and bar food, both of which are reasonably priced and pretty good.
There will be a Keyboard and Drums available, otherwise please bring your ax.
We'll no doubt have a couple-three fake books knocking around, if there’s something in addition you’d like to play, please bring charts.
The house is asking a $10.00 cover charge which will be waived if you are a musician attending the session.
If you are interested in attending please confirm when you can. We will furnish a list to the door person so that you are not required to fork over the cover charge. If you attend and have not confirmed you may ask for Steve Kelly and he'll usher you past the gatekeepers……
