The event is free to all horn players and anyone who comes to jam – we need all sax, trumpet and trombone players to come to Andy’s Jazz Club 11 E. Hubbard in Chicago.
All students of jazz are welcome – we encourage anyone who is participating in a High School, Jr. High or College jazz program to get a real life experience playing with one of the world’s top be-boppers.
Here's what you need to do:
Sign Up at the link above– List your name, instrument, school and contact information
Download free charts – These are the first four charts for the jam
Practice! When Richie counts off, you need to be ready to blow!
Come to Andy’s – (if you’re signed up and have an instrument, it’s free – otherwise it’s $5)
