Don't let the cold and snow keep you inside this Sunday when Chicago bassist Marlene Rosenberg and her quartet are heating up the South side of Chicago at Room 43.
That's right Room 43 is back in the jazz business and have rejoined forces with with the Hyde Park Jazz Society to restart the Sunday Night Jazz Series.
For years, until they ran into zoning and permit problems with the city of Chicago, Room 43 was "THE" hot spot on the South side on a Sunday night to hear some of Chicago's finest jazz groups.
Well now with all the permit and zoning issues in the past the Sunday Night Jazz Series is back and swinging hard.
Chicago Bassist Marlene Rosenberg will be hosting her CD release event at Room 43 this Sunday night January 22nd at 7:30pm. With easy parking and only a $10 cover charge there isn't a better spot to hear one of Chicago's finest bassists lead her group.
