Swedish jazz pianist Stefan Karlsson has traveled the globe as a performer and clinician. Called "remarkable," "superb," and "wonderful" by critics, Karlsson received high accolades for his impressive 2005 recording commemorating the music of Russ Freeman. He is also currently the pianist for the Eddie Gomez Trio.
His extensive repertoire can be heard on more than fifty recordings, and in several movies and television series. Karlsson is currently a professor in the world-renowned jazz studies department at the University of North Texas.
