RECORD RELEASE PARTY

In celebration of the release of the latest Mothra CD, bassist Steven Hashimoto will bring his sextet to the Green Mill Jazz Club, 4802 N.Broadway, on Friday, April 10, performing from 9PM till 1AM. Dan Hesler and
Mike Levin on saxophone, Pat Fleming on guitar, Kathy Kelly on vibes, and Heath Chappell on drums will accompany Hashimoto during this record release party of Tradewinds on the Chicago Sessions label.
Mothra has been in existence since 1976 and has played the Chicago Jazz Festival and the Chicago Asian American Jazz Festival. The band has hosted hundreds of Chicago musicians since its inception.
Hashimoto is also leader of the Latin jazz band Sueños, the Steven Hashimoto Quartet and the ever adaptable poetry slam band, Pong Unit.
