The Riverside Arts Center will feature a retrospective of the artwork of Chicago Jazz Magazine cartoonist, Charley Krebs, in the Freeark Gallery from June 27 through August 1. The exhibit will include samples of his on-going feature for Chicago Jazz Magazine along with other works published in a variety of Chicagoland publications over the past thirty years. Since 1996 Krebs has been recognized with ten Illinois Press Association awards and six national awards from the Suburban Newspapers of America. This exhibit opens with a small reception on Friday, June 27 from 6 pm until 9 pm with entertainment by the Cook County Jazz Commission, led by saxophonist Steve Kelly.
