Underground Wonder Bar reopening! Lonie Walker’s club, the Underground Wonder Bar, at 10 East Walton, was forced to close after over 21 years, when the building was torn down.
Having tried several locations, Walker, founder and owner of this underground haven for live music, has found a permanent home for the Wonder Bar at 710 North Clark. The bar will consist of two rooms––one street level and, of course, an underground room. Lonie Walker will continue to support local musicians, expand her business, and celebrate even more artists.
