3/5/22 - The Chi Town Jazz Festival is an annual benefit that supports hunger relief in Chicago. This year’s recipients are non-profit organizations Care for Real and Ravenswood Community Services. Guitarist John Moulder is the founder and director of the festival and organized this event at the Green Mill.
The Mill donated all the night's entrance fees and musicians donated their time to play for this event. The Katie Ernst Trio featured Katie Ernst bass, Tom Vaitsas piano, and Jon Deitemyer drums with special guest Dustin Lorenzi on tenor sax.
The Don Stiernberg Quartet featured Don Stiernberg mandolin, Andy Brown guitar, Jim Cox bass, and Phil Gratteau drums.
Whoa!Trio featured Ben Lewis piano, Matt Ulery bass, and Jon Deitemyer drums.
