The new festival grounds and event space in Waukegan called "Harbor's Edge", named appropriately because of the location of the space, will be hosting it's first of three festivals for the summer of 2016. The event on June 25th will feature live music starting at noon and running through 10pm with a feature performance by vocalist Wayne Messmer. His voice has been proudly associated with the National Anthem in Chicago for over thirty years, but he also a well-respected singer in the genre of jazz and the “Great American Songbook and will be performing the music the Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Nat Cole and many others made famous.

In addition there will be the entrance of the sail boats from Chicago which are coming up as part of the Chicago to Waukgan race and will feature several boats that race in the Chicago to Mackinac race.

The festival is free and is open to all ages.
