6th Annual Deer Park Jazz & Wine Festival Line-Up Announced
The 6th Annual Deer Park Jazz and Wine Festival is happening August 5 from noon to 9 p.m. The Deer Park Town Center has announced its lineup and will be adding some new additions while also bringing back crowd favorites.

The festival will kick off with the MYA Conservatory Big Band, followed by The Judy Roberts Trio with guest Wayne Messmer, Tim Fitzgerald’s Full House Tribute to Wes Montgomery, the Lowdown Brass Band and will close the event out with the Frank Catalano/Jimmy Chamberlin Super Group.
The Festival is produced by Chicago Jazz Magazine and Triple Crown Agency in partnership with the Deer Park Town Center.

12:30 - 1:45pm – MYA Conservatory Big Band
Directed by Chris Madsen, the Big Band features advanced jazz students ready to play at the highest level.
About
Midwest Young Artists Conservatory was founded in 1993 when a group of parents found rehearsal space at Lake Forest Country Day School and asked Founder and Director, Dr. Allan Dennis, to continue working with their children. The week after that organizational meeting, 55 students showed up for the first rehearsal. The students were divided in a Junior and Senior Orchestra, with quite a few of the older or more advanced students playing in both, a tradition of nurturing leadership that continues as a core value of our programs.
