NCC Jazz Series Annual Christmas Concert December 7



On December 7th join members of North Central College’s internationally-acclaimed jazz faculty as they perform their sixth annual Christmas Concert. The performance will be presented at 8:00 p.m. in the Madden Theatre, Wentz Fine Arts Center, 171 E. Chicago Avenue, Naperville.

The concert will feature a collection of well-known holiday favorites with a jazz twist, performing arrangements created by featured faculty artists: vocalist Janice Borla, saxophonist Mitch Paliga, trumpeter Art Davis, trombonist Tim Coffman, vibraphonist Brad Stirtz, pianist Chris White, bassist Kelly Sill and drummer Jack Mouse.

This season’s series is co-presented by Flashpoint Creative Arts, a newly-founded nonprofit organization promoting improvisation as an essential life skill, not only in music and the arts but in everyday life, presenting innovative artistic and educational experiences meant to draw people into the improvisatory process.
