CJO Celebrates their 40th Anniversary at the Studebaker Theater May 18th


The Chicago Jazz Orchestra (CJO) turns 40 this season, marking four decades as Chicago’s longest running professional jazz orchestra.

It’s time to tune in and get your tickets to CJO at 40: An Anniversary Celebration, Saturday, May 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the Studebaker Theater, 410 S. Michigan Ave., in Chicago’s historic Fine Arts Building. Tickets are $35-$45. For tickets and information, visit chicagojazzorchestra.org.

Don’t miss this special night of incredible live, big band jazz, plus behind-the-scenes glimpses at magical moments from 40 years of the Chicago Jazz Orchestra. Guest artists include vocalists Dee Alexander, Allan Harris and Paul Marinaro, trumpeter Marquis Hill, and the original 1978 CJO rhythm section, pianist John Campbell and drummer Joel Spencer.
