Aaron Diehl and his Trio revisit the music of The Modern Jazz Quartet with Warren Wolf
On Friday, February 21, award-winning jazz and classical pianist Aaron Diehl joins forces with virtuosic vibraphonist Warren Wolf to recreate the singular repertoire of the Modern Jazz Quartet in the Logan Center for the Arts performance hall. The evening before, Diehl joins University of Chicago Associate Professor of Music Jennifer Iverson for a conversation and listening session exploring both Diehl's and the MJQ's music and influences.
