3/29/21 - The Fulton Street Collective and WDCB, 90.9 FM, Chicago’s Home for Jazz, co-sponsored Chad McCullough and an all-star cast of musicians as they live-streamed an evening of Herb Alpert hits to celebrate Alpert’s 86th birthday. Music from his solo career, peerless classics from the Tijuana Brass catalogue, and his arrangements of music by Burt Bacharach, Toots Thielemans, Charlie Chaplan, Michael Jackson, and others were featured. Chad McCullough trumpet, James Davis trumpet, Anthony Bruno tenor sax, Luke Malewicz trombone, Paul Bedal keys, Mike Pinto guitars, Larry Kohut basses, Rich Stitzel drums, Chris Baker mallets and percussion, and Leslie Beukelman on vocals.
