July 18, 2023 Heirloom opened an evening of original compositions followed by Rufus Parenti and his trio at Chris Anderson’s Fulton Street Collective, in Chicago.
Heirloom featured Jeanne Marie Farinelli - sax, Ben Dameron - guitar, Stefan Lenthe - bass, and Hannah Johnson drums.
Rufus Parenti’s Trio played the second set with Rufus - tenor sax, Garrett Munz - alto, and Leo Buczkowski - bass.
Visual artist Jan Reagan created collage works in response to the music.
