HUP Performs Pink Floyd & Chicago Arts Academy Jazz Combo Plays at FSC by Harvey Tillis

September 16, 2025 - The Heisenberg Uncertainty Players, HUP, performed Director John Dorhauer's adaptation of the entire Pink Floyd 1975 classic, “Wish You Were Here”, celebrating the album’s 50th anniversary epic exploration of prog rock expanse as well as a poignant commentary on loss. Director/Composer John Dorhauer. Saxes: Natalie Lande, Kelley Dorhauer, Sam Pilnick, Matt Zmuda, James Baum. Trumpets: Grace Mulvey, Jon McQuade, Bennett Heinz, Emily Kuhn. Trombones: Michael Nearpass, Josh Torrey, John Wambach, Dan DiCesare. Guitar Chris Parsons, piano: Stu Seale, bass Dan Parker, drums & cymbals Ethan Bouwsma. Visual artist Alex Puryear created original paintings in response to the music.
