April 02, 2025 - Doug Bistro Quintet performed McCoy Tyner’s 1967 release “The Real McCoy” at the Jazz Record Art Collective, JRAC, in Chicago. Highlights of the performance included “Passion Dance,” “Four by Five,” and “Blues on the Corner”. The band consitated of Doug Bistrow - bass, Theodis Rogers - piano, Jim Gailloreto - sax, Victor Garcia - trumpet, and Quin Kirchner - drums. Visual artist Julian Camacho created artwork in response to the music.
