July 12, 2023: Two exciting bands performed at Chris Anderson’s Fulton Street Collective, FSC, in Chicago.
Singer Iyana Brownbey opened the evening with several original compositions scattered among great old standards. Jackson Sheppard accompanied her on guitar along with additional help on bass and keys.
Then Kenthaney Redmond took over with a killer band consisting of Connor Bernhard - trumpet, Elio Adriano - piano, Marion Mallard - bass, Josh Ross - drums, and Redmond himself on flute. Visual artist Julian Camacho created artwork in response to the music.
