Kuhn Quintet & McGathey Orchestra Perform at FSC
August 23, 2023 - The Emily Kuhn Quintet and Maxi McGathey’s Orchestra each performed their own exciting, challenging original compositions in separate sets at the Fulton Street Collective, FSC, in Chicago. Emily Kuhn trumpet/compositions, Erik Skov guitar, Meghan Stagl piano/vocals, Kitt Lyles bass, and Gustavo Cortiñas drums & cymbals. McGathey’s Orchestra included Maxx McGathey piano/composition, Scott Hoecker trumpet, Wills McKenna flute, Meghan Stagl flute/keyboards, Sam Genualdi guitar, Justin Peterson bass, Matt Smalligan drums & cymbals, Molly Rife cello, Matthew Wronski viola, Brenna Crowgey violin, and Michael Nebeker violin.
