SEPTEMBER 21, 2023 - Station 4, a Chicago-based ensemble that incorporates dance and music to create a multi-sensory experience, performed "Dynamic Fabric: Chicago Intersections", an original work composed by Mark Nagy at the Fulton Street Collective, FSC, in Chicago. Chicago historian Sherman "Dilla" Thomas began the performance with an original engrossing survey covering each of the 10 different neighborhoods represented in the piece. Musicians included Nagy on reeds, Steve Doyle on guitar, Neil Jendon on modular synthesizer and bass, and Erez Dessel on piano.
Dance artists included Karen Fisher Doyle, Tuli Bera, Heather Zimny, and Mindy Mayers. Visual artist Ryan Miller created original artwork in response to the performance.
